Mike Gallo Division Chief Lake Forest Fire Department

We had Lake Forest Police Commander Craig Lepkowski (congrats on retirement hope it wasn’t our fault) on the show a few episodes back and he recommended

we bring on Mike Gallo Division Chief of the Lake Forest Fire Department.

“The Firemen are the ones to call when you don’t know who else to call for help”

Things the community can do to help out the Fire Department:

When driving put the phone down, move to the right when they are trying to get through traffic (stay of Deerpath if you can) Change the batteries in your smoke detectors 2x a year Have an exit plan with a meeting place for your family so when the Fire Dept comes they can account for everyone

Notes:

Mike has been with the LF Fire Dept. for 27 years! Thank you for your service, Mike!! You get as many water calls (Lake) as you do fire calls Yes they do get cats out of trees (Right Chuck?), Fawns out of window wells  Rescue Me is THE BEST show on FIremen Chicago Fire no chance Lazy Boy is the preferred sitting apparatus (according to Craig)
