Lake Forest Day with Commander Neil Lynch American Legion McKinlock Post 264 Lake Forest

Commander Neil Lynch from the American Legion McKinlock Post 264 in Lake Forest came by to tell Skoo Walker and Pete Jansons all about Lake Forest  Day celebration on Tuesday August 3rd and Wed August 4th, 2021.

They need our help! Volunteers are needed for the Beer, Food, and Corn Tents!!! Call Commander Neil at 704-710-0195 or visit the lakeforestday.com site to register as a volunteer (more info below)

Raffles $5 and $100 all money goes to giving back to the community ie Scholarships to 60045 and 60045 residents Rides Food Parade Flags go up throughout town (need help with that too!!!)

The success of Lake Forest Day is dependent upon Volunteers. Please consider donating 1 or 2 hours of your time to help! We also welcome organizations to volunteer as a group. You will be meeting new friends and having some fun too. Volunteer with us today!​

​If you reading this, I know that you want to help. Here are some of the ways that you can help:

​Assist in safely staging floats/bands/entries for the Parade on Wednesday AM (needed 2 1/2 hours before the Parade). Assist in setting up judges table and podium (needed one hour before the Parade). Be a Parade Judge (needed for two hours) Safely processes vehicles/bands and personnel away from the end of the Parade route (needed for two hours) Sell Raffle tickets with you and/or your spouse (one/two hours shifts) Load/unload truck (needed for one hour) One hour selling tickets in the a Carnival Booths (needed for one/two hours shifts) Website design, content and pictures
